A personal project of mine. I wanted to test myself if I could create a brand identity for a skate shop! It wouldn't have a specific shop name but be an universal design for a skate shop in the town of Bloomington, IL. I wanted to find a typeface that screamed sporty but in a professional way. I went through a couple before I settled on the typeface Acumatic.

Then I had to find the color palette. I wanted to have three strong light colors that could be in the forefront for designs while having two dark values that could be used for backgrounds. From some of the research I did on skating promotional designs, they typically used red and blue. I thought that could be a good fit if we added yellow in to have the full set of primary colors.
