I'm a huge basketball fan and I love watching the Golden State Warriors and the Detroit Pistons! I wanted to test myself and create content from their brands and see what type of stuff I could create if I was their graphic designer!

I did my research on the NBA promotional flyers before I started making designs. I wanted to know what other designers did for their promotional material and how I can change it up. I ended up finding typefaces that was similar to the ones used in other promotional material. alongside finding color palettes to fit both teams respectfully. I also made sure to study up on GSW and The Detroit Pistions social media accounts to make sure I was making content in a similar vein.

Most of their promotional material was mainly highlights of certain players. They tended to not always have the same rhythm when making designs. It was always something unique. So I had to think about what would be something their Instagram team would post if they were to hire me.

I wanted to add variety with my designs which I think I ended up achieving. It was a very tough study but it taught me a lot about typography, image manipulation with Photoshop and brand design as a whole!
